#domenicalmuseo returns, the initiative by the Ministry of Culture that offers free access to state museums.

On Sunday, June 7st, the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze, Museo Nazionale del Bargello, Museo delle Cappelle Medicee and Museo di Palazzo Davanzati will be open for free, giving you the chance to explore the prestigious collections with no booking required.

The same museums will then be exceptionally open with free admission and no booking required also for the Republic Day, on June 2nd, 2026.

The opening hours for both days will be the usual ones: from 8.15 am to 6.50 pm, with last admission at 6.20 pm.
