The Museum opening hours are from 8:15 am to 6:50 pm (last admission at 6:20 pm).
Closed: January 1, December 25, every Monday.
Special evening openings: from 13 June to 31 October 2023, the museum can be visited until 10pm (last admission at 9.30pm) on Tuesdays, and until 9pm (last admission at 8.30pm) on Thursdays.

Accessibility
The museum is equipped with facilities for persons with disabilities. Entrance and ticket office are accessible from Via Ricasoli 60. Each of the halls and galleries that are open for exhibition are completely wheelchair accessible.
An accessible restroom is available at the ground floor, near the lift.

Useful Information
No green pass or mask is required for museum admission.
To access the Museum and ensure everyone’s safety, visitors must go through security inspection.
Items like scissors, blades, and any other metal objects that could pose a danger to people or the art works on display will be collected by the security staff at the entrance to the Museum and left at the metal detector.
The Museum does not have a cloakroom, therefore visitors with large bags and backpacks, helmets, etc. will not be allowed to enter. Access is allowed for bottles of water not exceeding 0.5 liters.
RULES FOR ACCESS AND VISIT TO THE MUSEUM
Lost items
Objects left at the metal detector and not collected on the day of the visit will remain in custody at the Museum until the first Tuesday of the following month. After this date they will be considered lost objects and delivered to the Lost and Found Office of the Municipality of Florence (via Veracini 5/5 , 50144 Florence, tel. +39 055 334802, fax +39 055 3246473, e-mail oggettitrovati@serviziallastrada.it), in accordance with current legislation.
The same procedure will be followed for objects lost by visitors inside the Museum. The Museum does not under any circumstances provide for the shipment of forgotten or lost objects.
Lift
The museum is equipped with a lift to reach the upper floor.

Audio guides available at the bookshop at a reduced price of 6 euros.
RESTROOMS
An equipped restroom is located on the ground floor, near the lift. The toilets are accessible only at the end of the tour.
