Press conference Merkel – Renzi with David in the background

On 22 and 23 January 2015, a bilateral summit Italy-Germany, between the President of the Council, Matteo Renzi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel was held in Florence. On Friday 23 January, the joint final press conference was held at the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence, in an evocative setting among the sculptures of Michelangelo, with the David in the background.
