Saturday 21 June sees the return of the Fête de la Musique, the initiative promoted by the European Commission and the Ministry of Culture to celebrate music and its fundamental role in European cultural life!

The Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze celebrates the occasion by offering a thematic itinerary between Art and Music and a musical performance in collaboration with the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music in Florence.

The thematic itinerary in 9 stages will be accessible independently thanks to a brochure in Italian and English that will be distributed at the entrance to the Museum.

In addition, thanks to the valuable collaboration with the Conservatorio di Musica Luigi Cherubini di Firenze., at 10.00 a.m. and at 11.00 a.m. there will be an evocative concert by Morgan Zearott – who will perform short harpsichord pieces to music by Domenico Scarlatti – in the rooms of the Museum of Musical Instruments.
