From 24 June to 21 September 2025, the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence is hosting the exhibition Luce energia infinito (Light Energy Infinity), featuring the works of French-Chinese artist Wang Yancheng.

The exhibition, curated by Gabriele Simongini, is staged by concession of the Ministry of Culture and presents around 25 paintings created between 2018 and 2025 – some of them made for Florence – in which the importance of a conception of emptiness as a material state bubbling with possibilities stands out.

Wang Yancheng’s absolute painting is the result of a deeply personal language, a kind of hybrid that absorbs and reinvents the fruitful dialogue between East and West.
