The restyling of the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence continues!

The new construction site which will cover the exterior of the museum will begin on Monday 4 September. In fact, the works involve the conservative restoration of the main façade of the building overlooking Via Ricasoli, not only of the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence but also of the adjacent institutes such as the Academy of Fine Arts and the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory, in order to enhance the entire architectural complex.
The scaffolding, which will be installed on Monday 4 September, with the museum closed, will be wider than normal to allow a double row of visitors and facilitate the usual flow of entrances.
